Translated poems. Firstly written in Portuguese and presented in Lisbon (Dec. 2022), 'meia roda da fortuna / half wheel of fortune' found its way into English and is now presented in a bilingual edition.
It tries to capture some lapses of the contemporary world, in a variety of geographies, questioning the inner mechanisms of poetic and political languages. An homage to those who live in exile, inspired by legacies we tend to forget, exploring a divergent historical perspective. It is also a personal testimony of nomadic inteneration and observation of some of the events that mark our time. A kind of odyssey in which you may also get lost... and still get home safe, wandering about cycles and the direction we move to.
